Find the cheapest iPhone 3G only in Auction.ph

The iPhone 3G is finally here in the Philippines and you can buy a shiny, new unit dirt-cheap only in Auction.ph.

Auction.ph, the foremost online shopping mall in the Philippines, has an ongoing online promotion entitled iHoopla – The Cheapest iPhone 3G Ever! The online event gives Auction.ph members a chance to name their desired price for the most desired gadget of 2008. Participants in the promo can guess a price anywhere between Php1.00 and Php5,000.00 in Php0.50 increments (Php1.00, Php1.50, Php2.00…). Essentially, the maximum price tag a winning participant will pay for is Php5,000.00. The estimated selling price of the iPhone 3G (8GB) is at Php30,000.00++.

To join, Auction.ph members simply have to log in and visit the iHoopla event page. The member automatically gets one chance to guess a price for the iPhone 3G. Non-members can join as well by signing up for free membership. They automatically earn one chance to guess a price after the sign-up process. Participants can earn more chances by referring others to sign-up for membership, answering a quiz or by downloading and posting items available on the event page.

After the 3-week period, all the guess prices cast shall be raffled electronically. The participant who cast the winning guess price first, wins the promo and gets to buy a brand new iPhone 3G for that price, tax-free.

iHoopla was launched last August 15, Auction.ph’s 2rd year anniversary and will be open until September 4. The winning guess price shall be revealed on the event page on September 5 at 3.00pm.

Your chance to buy the cheapest iPhone 3G ever is in Auction.ph.
